The Camino Documentary - Winning Awards
Waves of Goodness sponsored this documentary, created by BYU journalism students in 2019. It has since been given an award from The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS, also known as the company behind the Emmys): The Best Long-form Nonfiction Film. And before that, this film was also given an Award of Excellence from the Broadcast Education Association.
This was an important project for Waves of Goodness because this pilgrimage played a key part in our creation, and it represents the kindness of the human spirit. Anyone who goes on this pilgrimage will tell you that this journey brings a peace and simplicity, and an openness to connect to anyone, even with language barriers.
